Experts: The course will be conducted by our members, who are trained Naturalists and have a hands-on field experience of 20 years in the Terai forest of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve.

FIELD STUDY AT HIMALAYAN TERAI

DURATION:  2 days to 1 week 

MODE: on site@ National Environment Science Camp, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve

Objective: In-depth Field Study of Dudhwa like a Hardcore Naturalist
Accommodation: Jungle Tents with Western Toilets
Scope of Program: Research Scholars, PG and UG Students (Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, Geology, Geography and Social Sciences)
Team/Group Size: 1-50 Participants
Camp Dates: anytime between November to May

  • Flora of Terai (focusing on algae, ferns, grasses, aquatic. medicinal plants and large trees)

  3. FIELDWORK: E.g. Surveys, On-spot Observations, Photography, Experimental Studies, Interviews, Field Collections, Village and camper mentoring, Conservation work, Monitoring, Patrolling,
  4. DE-BRIEFING: Discussions, analysis and compiling of Field Reports
