EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING @ National Environment Science Camp, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve

We are pleased to share with you that National Environment Science Camp 2023-24 has commenced on 15th November 2023.

Numerous schools like St. Johns High School, Chandigarh; New Heights School, Hardoi; Dikshant International School, Chandigarh; M.C. Kejriwal School, Howrah; Little Flower School, Hyderabad and from across the country have already joined this unique initiative. The campers, representing diverse schools, have formed a tribe of their own during this exceptional experience. They recently embarked on a wilderness expedition, demonstrating their survival skills by creating tribal-style fishing nets and bamboo rafts.

What sets this camp apart is the extraordinary journey undertaken by the campers. They have ventured beyond borders, wading through the international boundary between India and Nepal to reach Nepal—an adventure that has brought them closer together.

For the first time in our two-decade history of organizing camps, we are introducing a cycling expedition at the core of a tiger reserve in India, providing a novel and thrilling experience.

In the evenings, campers gather to listen to the captivating tales of Dudhwa’s legends in a Vikram-Vetal storytelling style. Subsequently, they embark on a quest in search of Vetal, adding a touch of mystery and excitement to their camp experience.

The National Environment Science Camp at Dudhwa Tiger Reserve is not just a camp; it is a platform for experiential learning and acquiring life skills.
